[ Men's Health ] Open Question : Ignoring Dr's Advice on BPH? I am 47 and I have BPH. If you don't know what that is look it up. My GP wanted me to take Avodart and I wouldn't because of the side effects it would cause. My Urologist wanted me to take Flomax. Again, I said no. That is old man medicine and I'm not an old man! Besides, it has similar side effects that Avodart has. My question is this, if I just ignore it and just live with it and not take the medicine, will I be doing harm to myself. From what I have read it doesn't seem so. Anybody her have this problem and not take the medicine? Thanks. [ Other - General Health Care ] Open Question : QUICK my grandpa's heart is beating really fast and..? ok well my granpa well bored and lonely, so usually i play balloon volleyball with with, but just now he said his arm hurt so we kicked around a baloon for like 2 minutes before he said he was feeling dizzy and his heart started to pound very fast [ Other - Pets ] Open Question : Mississipi Kite Hawk? possibly was fighting with another bird and fell from tree, seemed like it was going to die, I placed it on a towel, cooled it off, gave it something to drink and feed him 20 crickets today, he seemed to want to fly, I watched him fly around lake,then land on other side in the water edge, 5 large turtles were around him when I canoed across and got him out of water. Now he is back in house,on perch, he looks grown but has the really fluffy downy hair, could it be he is just learning to fly. I did call wildlife and have found a couple of places I can carry him. BUt, until then, and I feeding him right, I am giving him water in side of mouth with syringe. any advice??? dont say let him go, just as well to say feed him to cats.I want him to have a chance. I'm a 30 year old female and haven't had sex in almost 8 years. I am attractive and 5'8" 130lbs (so I'm not out of shape) and just finished my MBA at Yale. The last relationship (and sexual partner) that I had was my boyfriend from college and that was 8 years ago.
I have had plenty of offers in the last 8 years, but I haven't met any man that I wanted to be intimate with. Do you think that this will hurt me in my next relationship? Do you think that my next boyfriend will think that its strange that I have not had sex in that long? I have been just so busy with work and school (I am now heading to law school this fall at Cornell). I do want to have sex again, but I want it to be meaningful and with a man that I truly care for and love. Not just some random guy that I met at a bar or dated briefly for a month.
