[ Video & Online Games ] Open Question : Why is Napoleon:Total War lagging unnecessarily? Hi, just wondering if any of you can help explain why it is that even though I definitely pass the recommended system requirements for Napoleon: Total War it is still noticeably framey even at the lowest possible settings.
Specs:
-Intel Core i5 650 processor 3.2Ghz
-4GB DDR3 RAM
-ATI Radeon HD 54501GB RAM
-Direct X 9
-Windows 7
According to "Can you run it?" (.com) I should be able to run this game at the highest settings.
I have tryed setting the priority to "Highest" in the task manager as well as setting all other applications to the lowest setting but this makes little, if any difference.

Arena offered us a two year advertisement at Bluewater shopping center, Kent. They offered to make the advertisement a ten second commercial (misold as was PowerPoint presentation and not moving live footage!) and after hefty bill (nearly £4,000) was paid they claim they have lost the contract with Bluewater and are now trying to have the company struck off.
Arena however, never had a contact with bluewater direct but had been subcontracted out by ASL Media Ltd (formerly Avanti) who had gone into liquidation and then brought out by Ran Investment Group (All of whom are pretty much the same people under a different company name). How can they do this? Where do I stand? Is it just breach of contract?
HOWEVER! Arena also have two other companies registered to their same address in Blackpool, FY4 4QW who are both still up and running and all the same people that work for their 'UK' company that is supposed to be struck off are still there! Now I remember reading about 'Black Pearl Marketing' who was also based in Blackpool and pretty much seemed to run the same tricks.. Offer advertisement in areas of interest take payment then claim they have gone under, shut up shop, take our hard earned money only to spring up a few months later different name, same people, same scam..
For me we are so disappointed that this has happened and have been in contact with solicitors etc but as Arena Digital Productions (UK) Ltd who had the contract are soon to be struck off we are hitting a brick wall! What I can't understand is that their other company Arena Digital Productions Ltd took our money - where is our right to get that back direct from them?!! What else can we do to claim our money back?
Please if anyone is approached by these people or ASL Media, Avanti Screenmedia, Ram Investments or any of the many Arena alias, please say NO and run a mile! It is one huge con...
I know there are others out there, especially with the Bluewater, Kent advertising scam, who have been duped and lost their money to Arena - please contact me as I want to find as many people as possible to take this to trading standards / watchdog who ever I can to get these people to stop trading and stealing our money!

This guy friend of mine (we has a bit of a fling kinda before we were friends- though he made a move on me very fast/the first time I even went to his house) well he wasn't looking for a relationship but he never really asked me what I was looking for he sort of made assumptions, (because I'm a virgin and we nearly went all the way but he didn't feel comfortable with being my first, he did ask me if I wanted him continue at one point I said I wasn't sure, so we just fooled around, but I think if I'd been more enthusiastic we would have gone all the way)
We decided to stay friends, but it wasn't working too well, there was a lot of miss communication, he was very flaky, but often turned it around and said I was being paranoid and would re-arrange things for times that suited him, instead of admitting he had been unreliable.
Just before we stopped talking he was trying to suggest I go see a doctor because he thought I was depressed, and that he had recently gone on anti-depressants that had really helped him. I told him I appreciated his advice but I didn't think it was a good choice for me.
He was always talking about other girls, ex's, and hot women in front of me too,but flirting with me also, and talking about sex//sex related things a lot.
I decided it would be better for us to not hang out anymore because I felt rejected and I would just end up feeling more jealous and resenting him, so I messaged him on fb to tell him I didn't think we should hang because I felt like he was grossed out by me after finding out I was a virgin, and that being around him wasn't good for my confidence, I said I'd like to remain civil and talk online still etc-
He replied saying that I was the one who was acting weird, and shying away when he tried to make conversation, and said whatever i wished and that he didn't mind.
I messaged saying we could be friends in future if it was cool with him, but no reply, 3 days later, I sent him a fb message saying sorry for blaming him and that I didn't want to lose a friend
Still no reply after about 5 days so I deleted him off FB.
Hadn't heard from him at all in a month, until I saw him at work a few weeks ago (he popped in) When he walked in he didn't say anything but as he left I was serving a customer he just said hi and asked if I was ok.
Didn't see him again until Saturday the other week, again he just popped into work, He said hi to me again, and the Saturday after that he popped in again (he doesn't work weekends and I ha vent seen him pop into work before which is annoying when you re trying to avoid someone) he said hi to me this time too but in a brief manner.
I was on a shift with him the other week, and he was very quiet and polite, I noticed him looking at me a couple of times without saying anything.
And last week he kept coming over asking if I needed help at all, I saw him looking at me a couple of times, or interrupting when I was asking someone else for help and would help me himself, or if im talking to someone hes standing with he would just stare at me even if im directing my conversation to the other person .and trying to make small talk and little jokes with me, making excuses to come to my till and just say anything (example he picked up a penny somewhere and took it over to me :/ and he did the same thing when he found some tiny piece of rubbish on the floor to throw in the bin near my till its just odd) And today at work he tried to make a couple of jokes and tried touching my arm again, I do not react rudely I politely talk back to him but casually, I don't want to be friendly back in case he's just playing a a game and teasing me again, it's like he was checking to see if he could get away with chatting to me and gradually progressing interaction, however this has only been at work so far as he's still off my FB list.
How can I tell whats going on here?
Maybe he just wants a selfish ego boost,i don't know.
Though I was avoiding him/forgetting him successfully since we have occasional shifts together its making it harder to just pretend he doesn't exist, what shall I do? I still have mixed feelings for him, if I chose to mend the friendship should I message him or something? Final 4 acts advance on 'America's Got Talent'
