I am 47 and I have BPH. If you don't know what that is look it up. My GP wanted me to take Avodart and I wouldn't because of the side effects it would cause. My Urologist wanted me to take Flomax. Again, I said no. That is old man medicine and I'm not an old man! Besides, it has similar side effects that Avodart has. My question is this, if I just ignore it and just live with it and not take the medicine, will I be doing harm to myself. From what I have read it doesn't seem so. Anybody her have this problem and not take the medicine? Thanks.
