[ Garden & Landscape ] Open Question : Tree removal/tree service/logging.....help? So i would not mind doing it,Id love to open a small sawmill and cut custom timbers, but I don't have any source of trees. So I would have to log other peoples properties and buy the logs, this is were the question come in.
Im only 16 right now and I cant seem to get a correct way of making this work in my mind. Here it goes. If i were to go log someone's property I would quote them a price, then i would ask them how much they wanted for the logs and deduct that from the price that i quoted? right? or would I buy the logs and remove them for free because they are now my logs and I have to take them? And of course this one is not to hard, I give them a price to cut the trees and they say take the logs they don't care what I do with them. And then there is people that just dont pay and just give me the logs but I have to cut them down first?
What im talking about is not logging big plots of land, im talking of logging some trees off small properties that people dont want, im talking when people have ten acres, and they want 5 acres of trees gone i would go in cut them down and do what ever i need to do to buy the logs from them.
Thanks! [ Buying & Selling ] Open Question : Just an 18 year old girl who needs car help? I have a 2002 ZX2 Ford Escort. I usually have a new problem arise with it every couple of months. Right now, it's in need of:
--brake rotors
--a belt tensioner
--basically a whole new AC system (condenser and something else I can't remember the name of)
--possibly a new gear shift (right now there's a peg sticking out of it that allows me to shift from park to drive)
All of this will cost me a AT LEAST $1,000, which is still a lot cheaper than getting a new car, but I'm afraid I will continue to have problems when I'm away at school this fall. I LEAVE FOR COLLEGE IN TWO WEEKS, and I'm scared to drive my car that distance!
I have about $4,000 to spend on a new car (without factoring in what I'd get from selling or trading in my current one), but you can't find a decent car in my area for much under $10,000. I can't really afford to make payments on the rest as I will not have time to work lots of hours while in school. Yet, I want to sell my car while there's still SOME value left in it (its extremely clean and has had many things replaced recently).
Sorry this was so long! Please help! I'm an 18 year old girl who's clueless about the automotive world!!!!
